Katie Campbell

Translation Project Manager

Katie has a dynamic background in project management, human resources management, and even coffee roasting operations. She is excited about managing translation projects and the world of language services. She has experience orchestrating varying levels of translation projects, including work with Scotts Lawn Care MiracleGro line, Tire Technology Expo’s international annual magazine, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and other large-scale projects, as well as local government agencies and community centers.

During her younger years, Katie grew up in a non-English-speaking household, introducing her to Colombian culture and the importance of translation and interpretation as a means to provide accurate, accessible information. Katie graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She was selected to participate in a student-created trial course teaching Portuguese to native Spanish speakers, having previous experience as a language instructor. She also holds a certificate in Cultural Studies from Universidad Veritas in San José, Costa Rica.

In her free time, Katie enjoys a good cup of coffee with friends, escaping into her garden, and creating functional ceramic pieces, like coffee mugs.
